Shape the Future of Community Support

Shore Trust is a well-established charitable trust based on Auckland’s North Shore, supporting people with intellectual disabilities to live independent, connected lives in their communities.

Since 1992, the Trust has provided quality residential support, ensuring individuals can live fulfilling lives with dignity and independence.  With a strong commitment to holistic care, Shore Trust fosters environments where people can make life choices, enjoy successes, and be valued members of their communities.

After many years of dedicated service, several of our long-standing trustees are stepping down, opening an exciting opportunity to refresh and strengthen our board over the next 18 months.  We are seeking individuals with governance experience and expertise  in:

• Finance – strategic financial oversight and governance
• Property – management, development, and asset optimisation
• Disability Services – advocacy and sector knowledge
• Government Contracts & Funding – navigating funding landscapes and compliance

Trustees meet every second month, contributing their knowledge and insights to shape the Trust’s direction.  A small stipend is provided in recognition of time and commitment.  Trustees should be based in the Auckland region.
