Mō mātou | About Us

Kō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role

As our Chief Executive you will lead our organisation while working closely with our board, leadership team, service users, community, and other key stakeholders.  You will role-model an unwavering focus on our values, empower our kaimahi, and champion our work across the sector and funders.  You will ensure effective delivery of our services, provide robust strategic and commercial insights, and foster innovation, excellence and caring.

Ko wai koe | About you

We are seeking applications from experienced Chief Executives who have led complex service delivery organisations. Experience in health and social services would be advantageous, but not essential. You will have broad strategic and operational skills, including HR, finance and funding, as well as a track record of working successfully with a governance board.

PSN works closely with a range of external partners, and you will be confident engaging with government officials, Ministers, other NGOs, iwi and the media.

Working with our experienced senior leaders, your own leadership style must empower and grow them and their teams. You will be a champion for flexibility, openness and inclusion, staff safety and wellbeing. As a faith-based organisation, our values underpin all that we do, and so our Chief Executive must carry these values.
