Opportunities

Household Support Manager

  • Work with families to fulfil their homeownership aspirations
  • Combine your housing knowledge, sales experience and property management skills
  • Help make home ownership a reality to potential homeowners

At Housing Foundation, we believe in the power of home ownership to bring stability and security to the lives of lower income families.  We support hard-working families who are locked out of the housing market by delivering pathways to affordable homeownership.  As leaders in progressive homeownership, we’re proud of our track record and our commitment to the communities we serve.

We’re looking for a warm, organised, and people-focused Household Support Manager who can help families on their journey to owning their own home.  You’ll be part of something genuinely life-changing – preparing, supporting, and advising families at every step, right through to move-in day.

You’ll be working with families who have taken a courageous first step toward home ownership – often with little or no experience in what it takes to buy a home.  They’ll be looking to you for guidance, reassurance, and practical support as they navigate unfamiliar territory.  Connections into Māori and/or Pacific communities would be a real advantage, helping us to reach and support more families who can benefit from our programme.

Your ability to build trust and connect with people from all walks of life will be key.  With your warm, approachable style, you’ll create positive, lasting relationships and offer advice that empowers families to make confident decisions.  Your background in property and sales will give you the tools to help them progress in our pathway to home ownership – one that’s not just affordable, but right for them.

We’re looking for someone who is empathetic, a strong communicator, and committed to supporting whānau.  You’ll enjoy working independently while being part of a passionate and close-knit team.  An appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a genuine desire to see hardworking New Zealanders thrive through homeownership is essential.

If you’re thinking this sounds like you and you want to join our passionate and enthusiastic team – we’d love to hear from you.
