Respectful Ageing for All, within Thriving Communities
Mō mātou | About Us
The Selwyn Foundation (TSF) is an Anglican charitable trust with a commitment to working with others to enable our most vulnerable older people to age well in place. Founded in 1954 the Foundation invests in social impact initiatives and advocacy, as well as being the parent for Selwyn Village Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary, and through its joint venture partnership with Auckland Council (51%) in Haumaru Housing, providing social housing for older Aucklanders.
TSF is guided by a commitment to dignity, compassion, and community for people as they age. Its work spans strategic philanthropy, advocacy and community engagement, underpinned by a values-based approach rooted in its Anglican heritage and its commitments to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
The Foundation is governed by a skilled and committed board that brings together expertise across social impact, finance, spirituality, and the community sector. Two director vacancies have arisen following the retirement of two board members across the group, creating an opportunity to shape the next chapter of TSF’s work.
